Simon Cowell Regrets . . .
Like Viagra has been around since 1999 and most people now understand decline in sexual performance is a commonly experienced “cost of aging” for men like menopause is for woman, but apparently music mogul Simon Cowell still thinks it’s something to be kept under the carpet and not talked about. NIMBY.
The 51-year-old music mogul, engaged to make-up artist Mezghan Hussainy but not yet ready to set a wedding date, told CNN host Piers Morgan he turned down a million dollars to front a Viagra commercial because “he couldn’t work out if it was a compliment or an insult.”
While he seems to have no second thoughts about rejecting that offer, he says he regrets turning down a far more bizarre opportunity for much less money.
Seems he was offered US$150,000 (NZ$192,589) offer to watch a couple have sex and critique their technique.
Cowell, famed for giving harsh criticisms on TV talent shows like American Idol and Britain’s Got Talent, was approached by a businessman who wanted Cowell to join him and his partner in the bedroom to judge their love-making skills.
The Brit admits he was so taken aback by the odd request, he had to decline.
“He offered me US$150,000 to criticise him bonking his wife. The crazy part of the story is I said no. If you’re watching, I’ll even do it for 50 thousand,” he told Piers Morgan.
“Maybe it was just the fact I didn’t know them that well. I think the fact that he really was taking it quite serious and I knew I would laugh. I just thought, ‘This is too crazy’. But I genuinely regret it now.”
TV Better Turn On
As for the Viagra deal, here’s what he told Piers Morgan:
“My agent called me up and went, ‘I’ve got some great news for you Simon. You’ve been offered a million offers for a commercial. But there’s some bad news: it’s Viagra.’
“I was trying to work out whether it was a compliment or an insult! I said no. The best form of Viagra is being on TV. Girls will like you more. It makes it easier.”
Natural Herbal Sex Enhancers
For those who don’t mind fronting up to being in need of a little hormonal support, there’s always herbal alternatives like Herbal Ignite to help give a sexual boost as well as increase energy and a sense of well being. Thousands of men know something Simon Cowell hasn’t yet ‘fessed up to – finding you’re lost a little of your fire power isn’t something to be ashamed of, but simply dealt to, like arthritis or the common cold.
