And it really was going to be a lovely day, for two commuters at least!

When Lucy Rogers heard fellow passengers on her evening train service spontaneously burst into strains of Lovely Day, by Bill Withers, she told her boyfriend Adam King to get out his cellphone camera, excited to be witnessing a flash mob first hand.

As it turns out though, he wasn’t exactly surprised by the mob of singers…

Flash Proposal

The whole event was in fact carefully planned: the passengers were part of a choir hired by King, to help create a romantic setup for his surprise marriage proposal!

And while some might consider the Euston to Watford train service not the most romantic of settings, as for Lucy herself: she couldn’t disagree more.
